Critic Reviews

Fender Bassbreaker 007 & 15 review

guitar.com

The Fender Bassbreaker 15 Head offers a compelling blend of vintage and modern tones, delivering solid performance across a range of rock styles. The amp's versatility shines with its three distinct voicings and EL84 power valves, producing a mid-Atlantic sound that appeals to both classic and contemporary rock fans. While the onboard hall reverb could be more organic, the FX loop allows for customization. The amp's high-gain mode impresses with its powerful delivery, though it benefits from pairing with a quality cabinet to unlock its full potential. Overall, this amp is a robust choice for guitarists seeking a blend of nostalgic and raunchy tones, despite minor quirks with its reverb and cabinet pairing.

Wow..

The first thing you notice is the clean sounds, like seriously amazing! True Fender sounds in a cheap package, this is all I use the amp for. For those wanting a more dirty sound, you won't be disappointed I promise. Great sounding tubes combined with a DI out, Speaker Emulation and a Lush Hall Reverb this is an essential amp, ridiculously versatile.
