日本のロック史に多大な影響を与え、現在もシーンの最前線に立ち続けるギタリストChar。本モデルはCharのキャリアを代表するアイコン、Olympic WhiteのMustang®をモチーフとした最新シグネイチャーモデルです。

30年ぶりのUS製Mustangの復活となったCustom Shop Char Signature Mustang “Free Sprits”（2012）以来のシグネイチャーMustangは日本製でのリリースとなります。モデルの開発にあたってのコンセプトは「Stratocaster®の機能性を搭載したMustang」。

Stratocasterよりも薄いMustangのボディ厚に合わせ、シンクロナイズドトレモロブリッジを新開発。Mustang特有の演奏性、取り回しの良さはそのままに、Stratocasterのアーミングを可能にするユニークなモデルが実現しました。さらに、より直観的なピックアップ操作を可能とする3-Position Toggleスイッチを採用。Stratocasterに近い感覚でボリューム操作ができるようにコントロールノブの位置も調整されています。

Charが長年あたためてきたアイディアを具現化したMade in Japan Char Signature Mustangは、ユニークながらも合理的なスペックを有したモデルとなりました。
