Yes, It's a "Real" Telecaster!
You want a Telecaster. You NEED a Telecaster.
You are considering different models of Telecasters. You are watching dozens of YouTube video reviews of Telecasters. Steve Cropper, Waylon Jennings, Marty Stuart, Don Rich, and Buck Owens couldn't be wrong.
Now, you are looking at THIS Telecaster. Go ahead! Buy THIS Telecaster.
First, it is a "Real" Tele. It has that distinctive Tele Twang and does not need to have its pickups "upgraded" to get the sound you have been lusting after. Next, the quality is superb. The Squier machine heads keep it in tune, the three-color Sunburst finish is absolutely beautiful and everything about it feels well put together.
I am a complete sucker for bound Telecaster bodies and this has it for a lot less because the only other option for a new Tele with a bound body is from the Fender Custom Shop for much, much more money. This is a great guitar that will scratch that Tele itch and look good while doing it.
My first guitar
This is my first guitar and I love it! It has amazing clean tones coming from the bridge and bridge+neck positions! Easy to get used to, so it's great for beginners and does it's job like any other Fender Tele (being a Squire, it kind of impresses me, because this is good quality for the money I spent!) If you're looking for a budget lead guitar, you found it! I also play hard rock distortion tones and metal ish, and It sounds great! A bit of noise comes from the amp because it's single coil pickups but you want a bit of noise don't you, I love to hear guitars screaming from high gain! Only downside with this Tele is the neck pickup. I honestly don't use it very much apart from the two pickups all together. I think this pickup lacks presence and I honestly don't love the neck position but I'm happy enough to be using the bridge pickup. With a bridge pickup like this one you can only expect mellow clean tones and growly distortion. I'm very happy with my first guitar, If one day I have the chance to play live this will be my swiss army knife. Versatile, comfortable and durable. Mine is in Blonde finish with maple neck, stunning! 4/5
