Description
The Fender VINTERA® '60S JAZZMASTER® is a nostalgic nod to the iconic guitars of the 1960s, revamped for today's discerning musician. With its characteristic offset body, this electric guitar doesn't just command attention visually but enchants aurally with its Vintage-Style '60s single-coil pickups. These re-voiced wide-bobbin pickups are crafted to mimic the rich, vibrant tones that defined an era, offering an expansive sonic palette that can effortlessly transition across genres.
The elegant design is complemented by a mid-60s "C" profile neck, which combines a vintage 7.25" fingerboard radius with vintage-style frets, ensuring a smooth, authentic playing experience. The neck's increased mass not only feels comfortable but also delivers impressive sustain, making it a dream for both rhythm and lead players. Plus, the adjustable bridge and floating vibrato tailpiece provide stable tuning and expressive playability for those signature Jazzmaster warbles and bends.
Whether you're drawn to the rich lows, the detailed mids, or the sparkling highs, the Vintera '60s Jazzmaster ensures each note is delivered with precision and warmth. Its classic lead/rhythm circuit grants you two distinct voicings, perfect for musicians seeking versatility in their playing. At 1:23 and throughout this video [Panic! At The Disco - This Is Gospel (Live) (from the Viva Las Vengeance Tour)] Brendon can be seen playing an Olympic White Fender Vintera ‘60’s Jazzmaster
Jeff can be seeing this Jazzmaster throughout the linked video. At first, I thought this was an American Original Jazzmaster, but the matching headstock confirms that this is likely an Olympic White Vintera 60's Jazzmaster with pau ferro board, given that it has binding, a dark fretboard, and has a matching headstock. The only immediately apparent modification is duct tape over the strap buttons, which Jeff does to a lot of his guitars as an alternative to straplocks. It has the original trem bar and does not appear to have a mastery bridge or any sort of hardware replacement.
