Great in every way it's meant to be
Beat pad has awesome response, the keys feel natural and easy to play, i'd say the only thing it's lacking are more keys to work with if you plan on using it within your studio to learn piano or keyboard, the 61key model will get the job done for most every song but I noticed I was lacking just the tiniest bit of more room for certain songs.

its really hard to find a full size hammer action controller that satisfies you as a pianoplayer with all the features you would want as an electronic musician... let alone one that's as affordable as the launchkey :-( I know the guys at novation somewhat and have brought this up to them but I don't think they see the market for an 88 key launch key with nice hammer action a la kawai.
