Description

The Gibson Les Paul Classic 1958 in Washed Cherry is more than just an electric guitar; it's a timeless piece of musical craftsmanship that bridges the gap between vintage style and modern playability. At the heart of this iconic instrument is its arched maple top paired with a robust mahogany body, delivering rich, resonant tones that have defined rock music for decades. The one-piece mahogany neck, carved into a chunky "C" shape, offers a comfortable grip for both intricate solos and powerful chords.

The one-piece rosewood fretboard is adorned with aged cellulose nitrate trapezoid inlays, providing an authentic aesthetic that complements its classic vibe. Precision tuning is ensured by Kluson single ring machine heads, while the ABR-1 bridge and aluminum stoptail maintain solid intonation and sustain.

Crafted in the USA, the Les Paul Classic 1958 comes complete with nickel hardware and is housed in a custom case, promising both protection and style. The Classic Paul

This is by far my favorite Les Paul to date. I've had the pleasure of playing a few LP Studios, LP Traditionals, and Standards, but the Classic has the best sound thanks to the '57 Classic Pickups and the super famous Les Paul action.

jimmarchi1

so yours says "1958" on the pickguard and not "1960"??? I've never run into a classic that's not marked as "1960". And they all sport wimpy slim taper necks that are kinda historically inaccurate in their oversmallitude... not that these are emant to be historic RIs, just commenting, I didn't know they made a fat neck
