Gibson LG-2 American Eagle Acoustic Guitar Review - Premier Guitar

premierguitar.com

Gibson's LG-2 American Eagle marries vintage charm with modern playability, making it a sweet and accessible acoustic-electric option. Its superb tonal balance and excellent craftsmanship shine, especially in fingerpicking styles. While some fingerstyle enthusiasts might miss a wider nut, the guitar impresses with its classy, minimalist styling and streamlined electronics. It's a versatile instrument, adept at both blues and more intricate arrangements, and offers great value for a Gibson, especially given the rising prices of vintage models. With a natural, responsive sound both acoustically and plugged in, it's an absolute peach for players seeking quality and style.

A sweet little angel of a guitar

My 2013 lg2 American Eagle is a finger-picking dream. It strums pretty nicely too. Clear tone up and down the fret board with great intonation. This is a somewhat of a hidden gem from Gibson. This little Guit box is great for recording and playing live. Decent price for what you get. Top shelf!!
