Description

The GuitarSystems pedals are old school guitar effects, with some added functions that add flexibility and stability, without losing their specific old school character. They are based on legendary vintage effects, and are made with the same New Old Stock parts as the originals.

About the GuitarSystems VibeTool:

The VibeTool is based on the original Shin Ei Uni-Vibe circuit. It uses NOS parts and gives you the fantastic Uni-Vibe sound, while adding some extra features that make it more compact and more versatile for use with today's wider range of different guitars.

About the original Shin Ei Uni-Vibe

The Uni-Vibe was developed by the company Shin Ei in 1968 by engineer Fumio Mieda. It was meant to be a Leslie simulator but it sounds more like a phaser as it is essentially a 4 stage phase shifter. The major difference with a standard phaser (e.g. MXR Phase 90) is that the four phase shifting stages each have a different frequency setting making the "wobble" sound more musical. The Uni-Vibe had a classic sound of its own, that can be heard, for example, on Robin Trower's "Bridge of Sighs", Jimi Hendrix's "Machine Gun" and on various songs of Pink Floyd's "Dark Side of the Moon".

Features of the GuitarSystems VibeTool
