Ibanez 7 string with mahogany body

Does one thing really really well: sounding like Korn in Drop A. I expected more from the mahogany body. For me it lacks something intangible compared to my beloved 93 Gibson SG. Maybe the K7 is too perfect? Lacks grunt to keep me playing. After a song or two I switch to an other guitar. That doesn’t happen on my SG or Explorer.
