Filthy Civil War muff tones
This pedal is targeting a blend between Civil War and 70's triangle muff tones and delivers in spades. Its rare that I'll engage the fuzz without also engaging the boost too.

The Jam Pedals website includes an artist page for [Artist Name] and his use of their pedals, in particular the Red Muck:
JAM pedals inspire.. they show you new avenues to explore. I love pedals that have a strong personality – that somehow take the pressure off me and cause the guitar to become the boss. The results are usually far more interesting than relying on my own will. The Red Muck has the “it’s gonna get crazy If I push that” button. I love that it feels dangerous to step on a button that will wreak havoc and take the control from me and into the hands of a small metal box full of wires. I don’t always like to be in control.. JAM pedals satisfy the need to relinquish control – to just jump out of the norm without a parachute.
