Although both JBL D120 and K120 were available in the market in 80's but an easy way to dfferentiate between them is the size of their aluminum domes. The large sized aluminum domes shown in that image belong to K120 speakers, the D120 had substanitally smaller aluminum domes.

This post which lists their tour equiments also hints that they used to use a JBL speaker: https://www.woodytone.com/2010/12/14/early-maiden-murray-smith-gear/
