A Cool, Compact Pedal with Vintage Vibes

The Korg Toneworks AX1000G is an impressive multi-effects pedalboard that stands out for its compact design and user-friendly interface. One of its key strengths is how easy it is to get started with; even beginners will find themselves quickly familiarized with its layout and controls.

This pedalboard offers a wide range of effects and presets that deliver a distinct vintage sound. Whether you’re looking for classic overdrives, reverbs, or delays, the AX1000G has a rich palette of tones that harken back to the golden eras of guitar music.

The quality of its electronics is top-notch, thanks to its Japanese construction. This attention to detail ensures reliability and durability, which is crucial for any serious musician.

However, it's worth noting that while the overall setup is intuitive, editing the sound banks can be somewhat complex. The deep customization options available might require a bit of patience to master.

As for amps, well as I rarely play live these day’s I’ve been using Pod’s and The Korg Ax1000G amp modeler. The longer I use them the less I like them and the less realistic they sound to me.
