Description
Step up your studio game with the KRK Expose E8B Studio Monitor, a powerhouse of precision and clarity crafted for the discerning audio professional. This active monitor is engineered with advanced features that ensure your mixes translate perfectly beyond the studio walls. At its core are two discrete Class A/AB amplifiers, working in harmony to deliver exceptional sound detail while maintaining impeccable accuracy and astonishing imaging.
The Expose E8B boasts a newly developed aluminum/beryllium inverted dome tweeter, offering ultra-crisp highs that extend beyond the audible spectrum, making it ideal for high-resolution audio. Partnered with a dual-layer 8" Kevlar woofer, this monitor provides tight, punchy bass that feels as if a subwoofer is hidden somewhere in the room. But it’s not just about the sheer power; the E8B’s sophisticated cabinet design features thick, non-parallel walls, cleverly minimizing standing waves and enhancing the overall sound quality.
Its curvaceous exterior isn't just for looks; these curves reduce diffraction and expand the sweet spot, ensuring you hear every nuance of your mix with unerring accuracy. Whether you’re mixing, recording, or mastering, the KRK Expose E8B stands as a beacon of truth in audio production, allowing you to work confidently and creatively.

"One of Platinum Sound's two studios, the one fitted with the SSL 9000K, was designed originally by Tom Hidley, and his trademark front-wall monitoring system still dominates the control room's front wall, though it's now loaded with TAD components. The second studio, with a 9000J console, was designed by Frank Commentale, who did several other rooms in New York that have appealed to Jean over the years, including Chung King and some of the rooms at Hit Factor. It's fitted with Augspurger monitors, and both rooms use Genelec 1032/1074 and KRK E8 nearfields."
