Great sound, unique color if you dont want the black and yellow

Got this color variant from Guitar center for the same discounted price as the gen 2s during the 50th anniversary event. Same great KRK sound perfect for a beginner home studio, They handle bass nicely which was a must for me, had a problem with some Alesis in the same price range distorting like crazy .
