Classic British Valve Amp Tone Monster. LOUD!!
Been using this 1x12 inch speaker VC30 with a second 1x12 Laney Cab for almost 30 years. The tone is what keeps me using it. Just sublime. Great pedal platform, although you don't really need many. Pros: 1: Superb Classic British A-class tube combo tone. Works well with any guitar, and for almost any genre. 2: Rugged amp. Load it into the van straight after you switch it off, Still hot - no problem. Cons: 1: LOUD! LOUD! LOUD! Had mine fitted with a Master Volume - still can't turn up past 3 for a 5 piece band rehearsal with PA. But it's still worth it. 2: Quirky - has to have all the knobs set to 0 before switching on or it blows a fuse. 3: 22kgs - 45lbs - damn heavy, even with one speaker.
