Description

Experience the perfect fusion of classic tube warmth and modern solid-state convenience with the Marshall AVT150HX guitar amplifier head. This powerful 150-watt beast is engineered to deliver the legendary Marshall tone without the need for valves in the power stage, making it a versatile choice for guitarists who demand both reliability and rich, dynamic sound.

The AVT150HX features four distinct channels: Acoustic Simulator, Clean, Overdrive 1, and Overdrive 2. Whether you're aiming for the crisp, bell-like tones of an acoustic or the raw overdrive of a classic Plexi, this amp has you covered. Each channel is footswitchable, providing seamless transitions for live performances or studio sessions. The onboard 16 custom-voiced effects offer an expansive sonic palette, from reverb to delay, ensuring your sound remains fresh and inspiring.

At the heart of the AVT150HX is the ECC83 Dual Triode valve-driven preamp, which guarantees that every note you play is infused with the authentic warmth and harmonic complexity that only a true valve circuit can provide. Coupled with Marshall's proprietary power amp design, this head delivers a musical feel and three-dimensional sound that is both captivating and consistent, regardless of the environment.

For those who crave versatility without compromising on quality, the Marshall AVT150HX is an amplifier head that bridges the gap between tradition and innovation, offering a robust platform for creative expression.

Good for the money, maybe not so much long term

Amp head is very solid and holds up very well in death and slam situations, however the amp is a little too tight on the top end and needs a bit more balanced of tonem easily fixed with a EQ pedal however.
