Almost as good as an xotic
I use it on bass in front of a filter, of my cheap Rat clone or at the end of my signal chain and in every situation it does a marvelous job in boosting the low mids and helps you stand out in the mix in a band situation! Well built and much more useful than you would know.

EP booster on the cheap
this is a clone of the Xotic EP which itself emulates the famous Echoplex albeit with more gain. I have the Echoplex and love the thickening effect it has on my tone and have it always on. Has more boost than the echoplex and an internal dip to add 3dB gain. Another internal DIP gives a high frequency roll off for a more vintage Echoplex sound. Useful addition to my 2nd board

more gain and less headroom, the ep3 runs at an unusually high voltage for a jfet

yeah - this is not quite the same but in the ballpark and a lot cheaper!
