Perfect Sidechain

I lacked a sidechain plugin, and purchased Kickstart after trying out the demo. It's superb due to it's easy interface, "Mix" -knob and various different sidechain types!

charlesbostwick

Sidechain for days

I really like this side chain plugin, especially since I use Logic Pro X for my DAW. This plugin puts sidechaining at your fingertips!

danasmusic

A summer of madness

Do you dream of making an audible music during your road trip or your beach holiday? Without Sidechain, you probably will not succeed. Its effect is so good that it will make you shudder. Plug-in available on a majority of composition software.

centurion

Effective sidechain for house, but not ideal for dubstep

I use it to sidechain for house and complextro, but for dubstep I use Logic Pro's built in compressor because the kick is not in one set place, and I like to have the bass duck every time the kick is played, so it is better to use a traditional compressor rather than a sidechain plugin in dubstep

jessico

one of the best

i make really good side chains with this ..i really love it

The sidechain

Nothing to say, it's the best for the famous pumping effect with 8 custom shapes, a dry/wet knob and different triggering mode. For as low as $10, you can't find better than this monster

theofficialcreedster

Very efficient

Its a really fast and useful plug in but in some ways not as good as regular side chain compression because you can't do custom side chaining with it

refive

Great usability

I can highly recommend this plugin if you don't want to spend much time on sidechaining your synths and tracks. It's a matter of pressing the button!

jedous

Nicky Romero collaborated with Cableguys to create a sidechain compression plugin. In a video he talks through the features:

"We have the wet button… then we have the different presets. I made custom presets to make sure that you can work easily, nice and fast, on different kinds of instruments and different kinds of frequencies in your mix. Whenever you make a kick-bass, it's always tricky to do the right sidechain. It's hard to get it right, to get the punch, to make sure that it keeps tight and that it sounds punchy in the club. The most important thing is that the kick has space to breathe."
