Description
Unleash your creativity and explore a sonic landscape with the Oneder Effects Fuzzhausen, a fuzz pedal that takes inspiration from legendary vintage circuits while adding its own modern twist. Designed for the experimental guitarist, the Fuzzhausen delivers a dual-voiced fuzz experience that ranges from a classic, mid-scooped explosion to a more aggressive, mid-forward growl, all at the stomp of a footswitch. This pedal is perfect for those who crave versatility and originality in their fuzz tones.
The Fuzzhausen features a distinctive FILTER footswitch allowing you to toggle effortlessly between the GREEN mode for a traditional fuzz and the RED mode for a more pronounced, fuzzy distortion. This flexibility is further enhanced by a clever 3-gain toggle switch, offering a spectrum of tonal possibilities that cater to both the doom metal enthusiast and the psychedelic rock adventurer.
Housed in a rugged black sparkle powder-coated enclosure, the Fuzzhausen is as reliable as it is eye-catching. The clickless relay bypass footswitching ensures seamless transitions during live performances, while the top-mounted Neutrik jacks keep your pedalboard tidy and organized. Powered by a 9v center negative power supply, this pedal is as practical as it is powerful, making it an essential addition to any guitarist's arsenal.

A great fuzz with an absolutely insane second mode
I've been playing with this pedal as the first in my chain for a couple of months now and I can't for the life of me take it off my board. I've set the internal volume trim to about 1 o'clock and dialed back the trim for the "Evil" mode to about 11 just to have a bit more control over the oscillation when I roll the volume back a bit. I stack the fuzz with a 90s DS-1 and use that with the gain rolled off as sort of an external tone shaper and boost for the fuzz. I can't say enough good things about the tone right out of the box, but it's a very bright mid/high-forward fuzz with a lot of fun breakup at stock settings with your guitar at full volume. Think Dinosaur Jr, Mudhoney, or Jack White. As you roll your guitars volume knob back, the Fuzzhausen becomes extremely sensitive and at about half volume, it becomes more of a subtle fuzz that becomes extremely pick responsive. "Very Evil" mode is only even mildly tameable at full volume, as you have to fight against the feedback of your signal for weird octave pitches and oscillation. Rolling your volume down surrenders your signal completely to the Fuzzhausen and there's no escaping that world. Just dial-up internet sounds until your ears bleed. It's amazing. Buy this pedal or be cursed.

Very nice, period
If you don't know Danhausen, the pro wrestler whose wacky demon gimmick the pedal is based on, you've probably never heard of this pedal. That's too bad, because it's a great little fuzz, very similar to the Fuzz Factory.
The gimmick is based on the wrestler's catchphrase, "Very Nice, Very Evil." Step on the left switch once and you get a normal, high gain fuzz (very nice) which sounds especially great on bass. Step on it again and you get wild Fuzz Factory-like oscillations and feedback (very evil). The controls for this mode are hidden away inside the pedal, which is an unfortunate design decision, and really the only thing that keeps it from being a fixture on my board.
Since this had a relatively low production run and was basically made only for fans of the wrestler, it's probably not worth shelling out what it costs if you're not also a Danhausen fan (just get a Fuzz Factory), but if somehow you find one on the cheap, it's worth snapping up.
