Mods and upgrades

  • Swapping Chinese preamp tubes for JJ and EHX tubes enhances the Tiny Terror's gain and overall sound quality.

    Source

Comparisons

  • The Tiny Terror is likened to a Marshall 18 watt with an extra gain stage, offering a classic rock crunch and handling 80s metal well.

    Source
  • The Tiny Terror's sound might not satisfy those accustomed to Fender cleans, but it offers a unique crunch that some users find irreplaceable.

    Source

Features and functionality

  • The tone knob functions as a JMI Vox style cut control, acting as a variable high-cut filter.

    Source
  • The amp's gain knob ranges from clean to mean, covering a broad tonal spectrum without tone stack loss.

    Source
  • The Tiny Terror lacks an FX loop, which can limit the use of heavier overdrive, distortion, and some fuzz pedals.

Use cases and applications

  • The Tiny Terror can provide a Voxy sound with a tighter low end, making it suitable for rock and metal through a 2x12 cab with V30s.

    Source

    Source

User experience

  • Owners note that adjusting the guitar's volume knob can effectively transition from clean to overdriven tones, highlighting the amp's dynamic response.

    Source

Value and pricing
