The Squier Standard Telecaster offers excellent value, featuring beefier pickups and a player-friendly neck, making it a well-built, gig-ready instrument. While the modern Telecaster feel might not appeal to purists, its versatile sound palette and authoritative pickups make it a solid choice for rhythm guitarists. I think I adore it.

I got it by chance, when I wasn't looking for a Telecaster. Mine is "crafted in Indonesia", vintage blonde, and I had to fix some factory details like the alignment of the body with the neck and the angle of inclination of the latter to have a decent string action. Even so, I kept it and replaced the stock pickups with an Argentine DS Teleneck V and a Twang King bridge that I had in an SX that I later sold and, IMO, it sounds killer. I don't know, although I'm on the Les Paul or SG team, this guitar has a special chemistry and I think it will stay with me. That said, if you're not a good guitarist and play clean, you'll be exposed.

The Table, a very noble guitar

My Apple Candy Telecaster is made in China, Squier indeed, but I love the sound of its pickups very true to the original sound of the made in the United States guitars. With this guitar I use to play Blues, Country, Rockabilly and Bluegrass, styles for which the Telecaster is quite good.

My first guitar

My squire Tele “Rusty” was my first electric guitar which was bought for me by my dad as a way to both score points and piss off my mother. I’ve looked after it for over 10 years now and it still features in my travelling rig today.

Dream Guitar Just Got Cheaper

I have always wanted a Fender American Standard Telecaster, but those guitars go for a price way above what I can afford as a student. I picked up this guitar at a store and started playing. Ever since that moment, I haven't stopped playing it.

courtland_adams

Nice for a Squier

Ah, my first Telecaster. I remember when I first got this and for about 2 years it was my first choice of guitar. Build quality can be a bit dodgy, but tonally it's actually not bad for the price.

anton_pisarskiy

Plays amazing. Rezonates amazing. Idk if all production models from that year (2004) are like that or not, but I want them to be

Idk if all production models from that year (2004) are like that or not, but I really want them to be. I got it this year from mr music in Boston for 150 bucks and it needed major work done to it. I did. Agathis body, maple neck with rosewood (?) strip.

No. 1 guitar

I have been using this guitar since 2006 with a little changes and love it. Sunburst version.

Amazing!!!!

Probably the best guitar I've ever plaid. I used to be amateur, but now this guitar has upgraded me to professional levels.

Nice budget guitar

Pretty decent pickups though they could have a bit more output.
