Description

Great guitar amp with tons of personality. Sounds like an ac30, or Boogie class a... modified power supply with slightly raised plate voltage, silicon rectifier for negative bias power, shielded wire used inside, replaced input jacks and reverb connect with higher quality connectors. I've never played this live without someone asking about it. It's not very powerful, but 20 watts seems to be enough with this monster. Especially when perched on the dual guitar leslie cab. A little frail for gigging, but stable enough once power tube sockets are upgraded. If you get one that red plates, change the tube sockets first. Might be the only issue.

Classic tone, very easily driven, used on LZ STUDIO ALBUMS

Page used this amp in the studio on the first 3 LZ LP's... apparently modded in the same way. Rare and vastly overlooked amp!!
