Arturia MiniLab 3 review | MusicRadar

musicradar.com

The Arturia MiniLab 3 emerges as a standout in the crowded field of MIDI controllers, boasting solid construction, sleek design, and an impressive feature set that enhances the user experience. Its integration with DAWs is seamless, and the pressure-sensitive pads add a layer of expressiveness that many will appreciate. However, those already owning a MiniLab MkII might not find enough new features to justify an upgrade. Overall, it's a fantastic option for newcomers seeking quality without breaking the bank.

Arturia MiniLab 3 Review - Universal MIDI Keyboard & Controller

soundgale.com

The Arturia MiniLab 3 offers a substantial upgrade with new faders, a handy OLED screen, and a robust software package that makes it a powerful tool for both studio and live use. The build quality is commendable, and the responsive keys and pads enhance playability. However, it lacks aftertouch, which might disappoint some users. While its compact design is perfect for portability, the MIDI connections to iPads can be tricky. Overall, it’s a fantastic choice for musicians seeking versatility without breaking the bank, but those needing more advanced features may want to explore other options.

Amazing MIDI keyboard

I bought this MIDI controller as my first one, and it has been amazing! I love the feel of the keys and the fantastic software package that comes with it. The knobs and faders feel great, and connecting it to my DAW has been a breeze. The build quality is impressive; although it is made of plastic, it feels premium with no rattling or shaking. You can enjoy a lot of functionality from all three ports, which include USB-C, a 6.33mm jack for a sustain pedal, and MIDI Out. My only complaint is that the drum pads are quite stiff; you need to hit them harder to get a decent sound out of them and use the transport controls..

Edit: The Minilab has held up for the past few months, while from time to time, there are Sync and control issues. It could be fixed easily by either updating the firmware of your DAW or the Minilab 3. I would still recommend you to purchase the Minilab 3 among other popular Options due to its software package, value for money, and general usability and connectivity.
