Critic Reviews

Cherry Audio’s DCO-106 synth plugin is a juiced-up Juno-106 that won’t put the squeeze on your wallet | MusicRadar

musicradar.com

The Cherry Audio DCO-106 brilliantly revitalizes the iconic Juno-106, offering modern producers a wealth of features at an appealing price. With 16-voice polyphony, enhanced LFO options, and a robust effects section, it’s a solid tool for crafting lush sounds. The plugin's compatibility with original SysEx data adds a nostalgic touch for vintage fans. However, while the enhancements are commendable, some purists may miss the raw character of the original synth. Overall, the DCO-106 is a fantastic option for those seeking classic vibes with contemporary flexibility without breaking the bank.

Very authentic

Such a great and iconic sound. Well worth the £20 I just paid for it. I heard about 30 of the 500+ presets in the demo and knew it was quality, and bought it. Warm and robust sounding oscillators, just like the original, but with many new additions. It has a full-bodied sound and character, and no matter how many synths I have, there's always room for a 106 !! You don't need Voltage to run it as it runs as a vst within your chosen DAW. I could write more but I only just got it so I want to go use it =P

jimmarchi1

I assume its emulating the ubiquitous 106 and not the 6/60?

carbinax

Yes Jim, its an emulation of the Roland Juno 106

jimmarchi1

but y meaning was more like: in the plugin taste test is it very different fromTAL's UNO?
