Extremely awesome mastering EQ for studio when modified.

I am running 2-pair of modified Cerwin-Vega speakers in my personal studio as my studio monitors, and I needed a good cost-effective solution for speaker management. I initially purchased the DEQ2496 due to its price-point, its features, and it being Shark DSP processor driven. It has everything (w/ the exception of a crossover), does frequency analysis (speaker/room tuning), compression & limiting, and the ability to store presets. It does a great job "as-is", but I wanted to up the ante for my studio. I had done some research before the purchase and found out that several 3rd-parties made and sold mods (upgrade boards) for this unit which replace the lower-grade ADC input and DAC output boards as well as the power supply components. I purchased my boards from Behringer Mods and did the replacement myself, which basically has turned the DEQ2496 into a transparent ADA audio-processor for my studio monitors. Another 3rd-party has developed a nice free software GUI app for the computer called the Seoman DEQ2496 Remote which allows you to hook your computer to the MIDI jacks on the unit and see & remotely control the unit via the on-screen app.
