Blackstar Dept.10 Amped 1 Review | MusicRadar

musicradar.com

The Blackstar Dept. 10 AMPED 1 is a remarkable blend of portability and power, delivering exceptional tones for both live and studio settings. Its sleek design and versatile features cater to a wide range of players, making it a valuable addition to any pedalboard. However, the absence of an effects loop and the need for the software to be connected before use are notable drawbacks. Despite these minor flaws, its impressive sound quality and user-friendly interface make it a strong contender in the amp market, particularly for serious musicians seeking creative flexibility.

Blackstar Dept 10 Amped 1 review | Guitar World

guitarworld.com

Blackstar's Dept. 10 AMPED 1 is a compact powerhouse, boasting a versatile 100-watt amp that caters to modern pedalboards without sacrificing sound quality. Its dual 9V power outputs and extensive features—including three preamp modes and customizable power amp responses—make it a formidable tool for any guitarist. However, the limitation of reverb adjustments solely via an app might frustrate some players, and its reliance on DSP technology may not appeal to purists. Overall, this pedal amp is a triumph for those seeking serious tones in a portable format, but it does come with a few quirks that might not suit every player's preferences.

Amazing

An exaggerated amp! I went from the valve head to this instrument and I must say that it is perfect along with the pedals, excellent in direct and wonderful attached to my orange case. I highly recommend, in the live it is precise with infinite volume
