Boss DS-1 Distortion Brit Mod | Harmonic Thoughts

The Boss DS-1 Distortion Brit Mod breathes new life into the classic DS-1 pedal, transforming its sound to resemble the rich tones of a Marshall amp, making it a hit for fans of classic rock. While it retains the simplicity and durability of the original design, the mod significantly boosts both level and tone control, offering a broader range without compromising clarity. However, users may find the lack of an added switch limiting, and it's clear that those seeking versatility might still need an external equalizer. Overall, for its price point and enhanced sound quality, it's a highly recommended modification for beginners looking to elevate their distortion game.

Cruchy

It growls and barks; it takes stomps, it works hard and never takes a day off. Who could ask for more? It is my go to for cranking the knobs all the way to the right, all of them; and then shredding. It is the heavy metal, grunge, headbanger pedal on the floor.
