The Black Widow strings are designed with the wrap wire over a hex core on the third, fourth, and fifth string. This allows the wrap wire to provide 100% contact with the core insuring maximum transfer of tone and sustain. An additional benefit of this unique design is the ability of the string to bend easier while maintaining proper tension and staying in tune during performance.
