Description
With the Elixir 19052 Optiweb Nickel Plated Steel Light 10-46 strings, elevate your guitar playing experience to a new level. These light gauge strings (.010-.046) are crafted for guitarists who crave the vibrant tone of uncoated strings without compromising on durability. The innovative OPTIWEB coating is Elixir's thinnest and most transparent yet, allowing the strings to vibrate freely while providing a natural feel and extending the life of your tone.
Elixir’s OPTIWEB coating not only preserves the strings’ clarity and brightness but also offers a textured grip that enhances control over bends and vibrato. This cutting-edge coating technology ensures the strings remain free of corrosion and gunk, which typically shortens the lifespan of other strings. The nickel-plated steel wrap wire contributes to a crisp, balanced tone that’s perfect for a variety of genres, from rock to blues and beyond.
The plain steel strings feature Elixir’s Anti-Rust Plating, which further extends their longevity. This means fewer string changes and more time making music. Trusted by professionals worldwide, Elixir strings are known for their reliability and exceptional performance, making them a staple in any guitarist’s toolkit.

Worth the Money
They aren't the cheapest, but they'll last as long as 2-3 packs of anything else. They don't rust, so you can play the hell out of em until they can't take it anymore. I use the .010-.046 sets on almost everything I own. If I have a guitar I know I don't play often, I string it with these so it's good to go next time I pick it up. They're not the most bendable, so it takes a minute to adjust. Well worth it.

Better than Ernie!
I really love the sound of these, these get me the sound I need out of my Deluxe Tele!! Even that metal Pac-man on the cover is amazing.

i prefer the cleartones as they have a tin coating rather than a thicker one and you can't feel it at all but i'm not really a coated guy I like the super heavy D'Addarios
5339
but the cleartones are worth trying

are the nanowebs worth trying ive only used optiweb?

scratch that, I meant optiwebs… I think I like NANO webs on my acoustic for every day use, although not so much when recording. Nanoweb, optiweb, spiderweb.... argh. When iw as a kid it was like slinky, extra slinky or not slinky, round or flat wound, nickel plated or pure nickel... sometimes In my youth steel wrapped came in and it all got confusing from there.
