Critic Reviews

Dunlop Cry Baby Mini 535Q Review - The Guitar Magazine

guitar.com

The Dunlop Mini 535Q Wah Pedal brings a compact design with full-size functionality, making it a versatile option for rock and funk musicians. Its red Fasel inductor and adjustable frequency range offer precise tonal control, while the switchable boost provides up to 16dB of extra power for solos. However, the smaller size may feel awkward initially, and the boost switch isn't foot-friendly during live performances, which could be a dealbreaker for some. Overall, it's a feature-rich wah pedal in a mini package, but trying it out for comfort is recommended.

Dunlop Cry Baby Mini 535Q review | MusicRadar

musicradar.com

The Dunlop Cry Baby Mini 535Q packs a full-grown wah tone into a compact package, making it a great choice for pedalboard space-savers. Pros include its small footprint, adjustable wah range, and boost feature. However, the smaller treadle might not suit everyone's playing style, but alternatives exist. Despite being half the size of the original, it retains the classic Cry Baby sound with minimal compromise. Overall, it's a practical trade-off for those seeking a versatile wah pedal that fits tight spaces.

Best of best

The best Cry Baby out there! It has all the same stuff than the big one, but half the size. They work and sound exactly the same. So, go for it if you want to save some real estate on your pedalboard.
