This photo is of John Frusciante's studio, from his article "Foregrow". If you look to the far right hand side of the desk, below the two knobs underneath the right hand side meter, you can see a piece of tape with the writing "EMT 252".
Also listed on the Syro album packaging as being one of the pieces of gear used on the recording of it. For some reason, this piece is mentioned as "EMT 252 FX", but the product is often referred to as simply "EMT 252".
