I’ve also got an Epiphone Jorma Kaukonen model which has a Bigsby, too. It’s got a great neck, with a 335-style body. It sounds good acoustically, but it didn’t have the type of electric tone I wanted. So I gutted it and put in a pair of DiMarzio PAFs.

THOSE that know that I collect collect guitars know that Im a fan of Gibson guitars in particular but I also love Fender guitars and less expensive guitars such as modern (after 1980) Epiphones. Not to say I dont care for older Epi, because I do and regard them as the best by this manufacture. Anyhoo, this Epi I really like. It is a Jorma Kaukonem Riviera Custom. Im not sure of the year because my normal ways of determining the age of an Epi failed me but Id say its about 15 years old and made in Korea. Joma is famous ex member of Jefferson Airplane and Hot Tuna. He did a GREAT job on this Signature guitar. Its a Riviera/335 style guitar with a Bigsby vibrato. It has a bit of weight and sounds a tad dark. I LOVE it. FEEL Looking forward to using it on live with my blues project next year. FEEL FREE TO POST PICTURES ON TOPIC* with my blues project next year.
