Description

The Event 20/20 V2 studio monitors redefine accuracy and affordability for nearfield monitoring, making them a beloved choice among audio professionals and hobbyists alike. These monitors deliver precise sound reproduction, ensuring that every detail of your mix is heard with crystal clarity. Designed to minimize listening fatigue, the 25mm natural silk dome tweeter offers smooth and detailed high frequencies, eliminating the harshness often found in metal dome counterparts. This means you can indulge in extended listening sessions without discomfort.

The 8" mineral-impregnated polypropylene cone woofer provides consistent and extended-range frequency response, offering robust, uncolored bass without the need for additional EQ adjustments. Whether you're producing music or simply enjoying your favorite tracks, the Event 20/20 V2 ensures faithful audio reproduction at any volume.

The cabinet design, crafted from 5/8" laminated MDF and filled with acoustical damping material, reduces internal standing waves for an uncompromised listening experience. The front-mounted bass port ensures that low frequencies are delivered directly and without distortion, even when the monitors are placed close to walls. This meticulous attention to detail makes the Event 20/20 V2 a dependable choice for any studio setup.

Very Clean and Detailed, Low-Mid Dip though

I love these monitors, and I've had them forever. The treble is clean but not too excessive, and overall the monitor is very flat. There is, however, a low-mid dip that is worth significant consideration. The bass is otherwise very tight and not too boomy.

yeah, they definitely have a dip at a spot where mud accumulates ina mix so they can really screw you up if you aren't aware of that... still, I remember these were a real game changer for pweored monitors when they came out and I think they're still a great monitor

"or years I had the Event 20/20 monitor speakers, but then switched over very recently to Genelec, just 'cause the Events weren't made anymore or I couldn't find them, or something. These are fine. I usually listen at very low volume when recording because it seems more accurate. "
