Description
Unleash your sonic creativity with the Fender Tom Morello Signature Soul Power Stratocaster. This unique instrument was developed in collaboration with the innovative guitarist Tom Morello, offering a myriad of tones to fuel your musical exploration. Emblazoned with Morello's iconic "Soul Power" decal, this Stratocaster is certain to inspire and empower.
From heavy rock riffs to bell-like cleans, the Seymour Duncan Hot Rails humbucker in the bridge position, alongside two Fender Noiseless single-coil Strat pickups in the middle and neck positions, delivers a wealth of tones. A 5-way blade pickup switch provides an array of tonal combinations, while the heavy-duty 2-way toggle kill switch adds a unique touch to your sound creation.
Feel the comfortable playability with the smooth-playing maple neck, featuring a deep C-shaped profile and a compound 9.5–14" radius rosewood fingerboard. The 22 jumbo frets offer extended range for ambitious lead playing, while the synthetic bone nut and die-cast tuning machines ensure stable tuning even under heavy use.
The alder slab body with binding, coupled with premium appointments like the Floyd Rose tremolo system and master volume and tone controls, make this Stratocaster a testament to Morello’s signature style.

Very great guitar, good return of the designer series strat, with great specs.
My only complaint is that for the price of $1,299.99, the Soul Power writing should have been put under the clear coat, rather than a decal, but I understand that not everyone wants that. Also, with a black gloss finish and metal pickguard, fingerprints show up very easily. Other than that, it is a great guitar for rock and metal. It has made me a little afraid to try a normal strat because I'm scared I won't like it as much as this strat. Also, DO NOT ABUSE THE HECK OUT OF THE KILLSWITCH. Be gentle with it, as it could be prone to damage from repeated use (or if you play like Morello).
Preferred Settings + Usage:
Clean: neck pickup, all knobs set to 10, run through a Marshall CODE 50 combo amp on the JVM Clean preset, with an EQ pedal (as a volume boost, bridge pickup is very overpowering and I don't want to adjust amp volume too much)
Dirty: bridge pickup, all knobs set to 10, run through a Marshall CODE 50 combo amp on the JCM 800 preset, with compression (built into the amp)
