Description
The Fender Jason Isbell Custom Telecaster is a harmonious blend of vintage charm and modern functionality. Crafted with a keen eye for detail, this guitar is a testament to Jason Isbell's prowess as a musician and his deep love for raw, roots-infused music.
Featuring an alder body adorned with a road-worn, chocolate sunburst, lacquer finish, the guitar exudes a vintage vibe that is as pleasing to the eyes as it is to the ears. The guitar's neck, with a mid '60s C profile, offers a full, comfortable feel making it ideal for rhythmic riffing or melodic leads.
The guitar is equipped with custom pickups designed by the pickup maestro, Tim Shaw, which capture Isbell's signature tone flawlessly. These single-coil pickups deliver everything from a twangy bite to a muscular overdrive, excelling in their ability to reproduce the Muscle Shoals-inspired sound that Isbell and the 400 Unit are famous for during their live performances.
The guitar's hardware, distressed to perfection, includes Fender's classic Tele bridge with brass barrel saddles, ensuring rock-solid intonation and tuning stability. The cherry on top is the chrome bridge plate, engraved with an anchor design as a tribute to Isbell's anchor and sparrow tattoo.
