Review: Fender Full Moon Distortion and The Pelt Pedals | Guitar World

guitarworld.com

Fender's Full Moon Distortion shines with its dynamic clarity and versatile EQ options, making it stand out in a crowded pedal market. While it delivers heavy distortion without sacrificing definition, some players may find the pedal's complexity a bit overwhelming. The unique boost function adds extra punch, but can require careful adjustment to avoid overpowering your tone. Overall, this pedal marries musicality with power, proving its worth for those seeking a high-gain solution that retains character and precision.

Fender Full Moon Distortion review | MusicRadar

musicradar.com

Fender's Full Moon Distortion delivers a powerful punch with its defined heavy tones and footswitchable boost, making it a versatile addition for high-gain enthusiasts. The dual-footswitch setup and EQ options allow for tailored sound, enhancing midrange harmonics effectively. However, it falls short for those seeking low-gain tones, as that's not its primary focus. If you're after hefty distortion and ideal for stage use, this pedal shines, but it might not suit every player's needs.

Depends what you are looking for

First the design is beautiful, the case is solid, easy access to the 9v Battery, The boost knob does what is supposed to do perfectly, The sound is good, you can modify it as much as you want with the 4 knobs EQ and switches. Well the pedal is a perfect distortion pedal. But it is not a brutal - high gain distortion pedal as it was apparently designed for.
