It's a great guitar, it'll last a lifetime. Although It has it's issues.
I purchased my AmProii Strat over a year ago. It was my first USA made guitar, although I still value my other, less expensive guitars. It has great playability, apart from 3 buzzing frets and relatively below-average tuning stability (especially on the B string but i'll just blame that on the sunny weather down here in Australia). Ppart from that it's a great, very versatile guitar overall.
Preferred Settings + Usage:
I like the tone around 8/9, it sounds less harsh on the bridge pickup. I also recommend turning it to Eb. It sounds killer!

During the 2021 Tame Impala Wave House Innerspeaker Concert we see Kevin using a 2020 Fender American Professional ll in a 3-Tone Sunburst with a Rosewood fretboard (2021 models include a 75 Anniversary decal). You can tell becuase it features the neck heel carve, non-locking staggered tuners, 2-point bridge, and the new string tree which is also featured on the Ultra models. You can see these features throughout the concert which can't be captured in one whole frame.

Yet discontinued, the American pro stratocaster can be found on the used market for generally under $2000 (AUD). The only upgraded things the Proii has compared to the Pro is the upgraded V-mod II pickups, curved neck heel for better upper access and a smooth, satin neck finish. I picked up an old american pro stratocaster at my local music store 2 years ago before I got the pro ii and I loved it.
