Description
High gain one-knob distortion
Onslaught is a simple yet highly useful one-knob distortion for pushing medium-gain tube amps. It's also an awesome transparent boost for guitar or bass.
This updated version expands upon the original with the addition of a "Mode" switch. "B" for boost is the original sound, "D" for distortion adds hard clipping to increase distortion and decrease output, and "S" for sub, which applies hard clipping to only the high frequencies, resulting in a perceived sub frequency boost.
Unchanged from the original version is the "Mids" switch which allows for a high mid (1), treble (2), or low mid (3) pre-emphasis boost. Try treble boost for thrashy rhythm playing, high mid boost for leads, and low mid boost for doomy sludge or bass guitar.
9v center negative operation only!
