Critic Reviews

Great River Harrison 32 EQ

soundonsound.com

The Great River Harrison 32 EQ impresses with its silky, creamy sound and intuitive use, offering a delightful recreation of the revered Harrison console EQ. Its proportional-Q design facilitates quick and musical tonal shaping, particularly excelling in the 'air' region and with high-pass filters. However, the lack of metering and somewhat awkward push-switches might give some users pause. Despite these minor setbacks, the EQ's warmth and versatility make it a superior choice over plug-in emulations, ideal for those seeking analog charm in a compact, modern format. Thoroughly recommended for rock and pop mixing enthusiasts.

"Amazing for shaping any kind of texture from an instrument or ambient treatment"

"My favorite outboard EQ. The filters are amazing for shaping any kind of texture from an instrument or ambient treatment. The top end boosts are super smooth and this equalizer's character is that it never sounds like you are using an EQ. The sound remains natural as if there was no EQ patched in"

Syrupy, instinctual and smooth

I love this EQ for tracking vocals and for just about anything else. Pretty colored, but in a "smooth" way. Think Neve with air, rather than pushed Behringer ;)
