This short guitar interview was done on the behalf of Equipboard in 2017. Mr. Marshall Crenshaw kindly provided us with the quotes and photos of the gear he was using. One of the guitars he is using is the mid-60s (possibly 1956) Gretsch Sparkle Jet.

"I've had this one since 1983, a purple Gretsch sparkle-Jet from the mid-60s. That's a Embie bridge btw, brand new. I've used this onstage a lot over the last few months; it and the Galanti are both tuned down a whole-step."
