Critic Reviews

IK Multimedia iRig Pro

soundonsound.com

The iRig Pro by IK Multimedia impresses with its compact, portable design, making it a versatile choice for musicians on the go. It smartly combines multiple input options, including XLR and MIDI, within a small footprint, supporting both iOS and Mac devices. The inclusion of a comprehensive software bundle adds significant value, while the intuitive gain control and reliable connections enhance usability. However, its build feels somewhat plasticky, and the specific cables required for connectivity could be a hassle if forgotten. Despite these minor drawbacks, the iRig Pro stands out as a handy, multi-functional interface ideal for mobile music production.

Quick and simple

Works great as a single channel I/O between your instrument and your computer or iOS device. Has a multitude of applications, whether using it to input an instrument into your computer, or getting your keyboard to play synth sounds from your iOS device. It's small, so it travels well. And it works great!
