"I wanted it to have the bite of a Strat and the kindof meat of a hollowbody...so the body is completely hollow and braced like a violin...so it's completely hand carved and hollow. It's a beautiful hand crafted instrument." The guitar can switch between a humbucker and single-coil sound, according to the Phish guitarist.
