Incredibly versatile VST. I love how rich the sound is, especially when it comes to my more progressive and trance leads. I would definitely put it as one of my favourite synths out there, you can't go far wrong with Sylenth, just look at some of the people who have said the same; 99% of the worlds biggest producers and Djs have listed it as one of their favourites, if not their favourite synth on the market. Fantastic item, a studio essential for the EDM producer in my opinion.

Leads leads leads

I haven't used Sylenth for much else besides lead and pad synth design, but it really shines in these areas. It is extremely tweakable and user friendly, and you can really create some strange and exciting leads and sequences with it. I love experimenting with the voicing and creating conflicting waves inside of it for some cool results.

Solid analog-modeled synth

This is arguably the "warmest"-sounding soft synth I've heard. It's fairly simple and straightforward to build sounds in, at least if you've used a synth before, and the presets are already good starting points for sounds. It's great for getting new takes on vintage analog synth sounds -- I'd say that's the strong point of Sylenth. I particularly like using it for harmonically rich bass and lead sounds, but also for synth drums (just because... come on, they're cool sounding) and arpeggiated leads.

One of the greats, for sure.

This plugin is simply great. It far exceeds most other softsynths in that it can actually nearly accurately reproduce a lot of the analog and virtual-analog hardware sounds almost indistringuishably... plus it allows you modulate pretty much parameter you want, so that's always a plus!

Probably the best and simplest synth ever

I make most of my presets with Sylenth, not because it's a super-powerful synth, but because it's very simple and fast. I also love the sound engine on this one. Can't recommend enough

An amazing synth

I'm not saying that Sylenth is the best synth out there. It's not going to get you the best dubstep basses or the coolest pads, but for the music I make (IDM and techno, mostly), a simple subtractive synth is always a good thing to have. Turns out that Sylenth is an amazing synth. It's greatly customizable, and the built-in effects are amazing.

So easy, so clean, so full!

So simple to work this VST and its sound is so full. It may or may not be what occupies 80% of the MIDI in my projects.

Great work horse, minor limitations.

Sylenth is the pioneering plugin of more mainstream EDM genres such as House, Future Bass and Trap. The plugin really lends itself towards more Electro, Tropical House & Mainstream genres.

I feel that the popularity of the plugin is ducking a little bit as competitors such as NI, xFer and some smaller plugin manufacturers are releasing new plugins by the month that it wont be too long before something replaces Sylenth. But until then it will rock on and always provide the juicy sounds needed to spice up a track and keep it catchy.

Unmatched sound quality for all synth needs

Definitely my most used synth. Me and everyone else I'm pretty sure... Leads, basses, pads, plucks, stabs - Sylenth's sound quality is unmatched.
