Ex-ceptionlly acceptable.
This pedal is well built for the price and works well as a basic expression pedal. The hinge is a little stiff and sticky however there for smooth volume swells for example take a little getting used to. The included patch cable is also poor quality. It is easy to quickly remove the base plate however for internal maintenance and repair if necessary. in all though worth it for the price.

easy to pretend it's an ibanez wh 10 or an old roland volume pedal pretty much
making it an ideal form factor for a basic exp pedal. i wish it wasn't plastic, but it's pretty sturdy.

Necessary evil
I do like using Line6 gear, so it’s in avoidable to get one of these. It does what it’s meant to, BUT the cheap plastics and plug is annoying. Especially because one can’t use random jack plug cables and boots are prohibited.
For road use it’s recommended to get the pricy MissionEngineering EP1-L6.

Plastic-made but sturdy
Don't know what else is there to say about an expression pedal, it's kinda expensive for what it is but whatever.
