not just a toy
created a micro-rig with the Pod Express Black, a pedalnetics micro all in one board with dual footswitch, a DIM stick and a Dunlop mini volume pedal. It's awesome for what it does. The amp models are legit Helix models and the effects are from the helix family as well. The thing that is going to push it over the top to 5 stars is the app that goes with the pedal. I can dial in almost any sound I want, even though this was catered to the Hard Rock and Metal guys, you'd be surprised by the cleans it can get, the addition to a compressor was clutch IMO. Its' easy to get the sounds you want with just a twist of a few dials and a couple of button taps. It sounds great, and if you are in the market for something like this, don't sleep on it. I know the ToneX One's and Valeton GP-5 are super hot right now, but those come with an investment to learn their system and how to setup the thing. The Pod Express series is kind aimed towards the smooth brained individuals who like to turn knobs and make cool and very usable professional sounds. Only con I have is that I can only select reverb OR delay, and not both at the same time,

The best in class in terms of amp modeling is concerned, has great effects too. That said the ecosystem and work flow is the biggest drawback and getting folks to learn the ins and outs isn't doing anyone any favors. Requires a computer to get the most out of it, no mobile app. Takes a minute to get setup correctly.
