Good price for reference
As stated, these are "reference" monitors. You will find no enjoyment listening to your favorite hip-hop artist through these. But as reference monitors (flat, being able to compare it's sound across the board to something else) and for the price (99 each now) you can't beat the deal. I love, love, love peeking into some college kid's little home studio and seeing a pair of Rokits perfectly positionied for listening pleasure. I hate to tell you this but if you use a "name brand" to perform a job, your next mix is going to sound like mud in your first fan's car stereo.
