M‑Audio BX6 & BX8 Carbon

soundonsound.com

M-Audio's BX8 Carbon monitors deliver impressive performance for the price, offering a smooth high end and well-balanced tones that inspire confidence during mixing. The larger BX8 suits bigger rooms with its deeper bass, while the BX6 is ideal for smaller spaces. Despite rear porting requiring careful placement, these monitors provide a dependable soundstage and comfortable long-term use, making them a worthy contender in the budget market.

M Audio BX8 Carbon series monitors Review

worshipleader.com

The M-Audio BX8 Carbon monitors deliver impressively balanced and clean sound, with powerful bass and improved stereo imaging over previous models. The acoustic space control is a valuable feature for managing low-end frequencies in smaller or wall-adjacent setups. While they offer exceptional value at $249.99 each, their size may not suit very small office spaces. Overall, these monitors are a great choice for monitoring, mixing, and music listening in compact recording environments.

Great so far

These are my first studio speakers, and so far, after about a month of usage, they've given me a nice flat signal and they're super crisp. I'm going to have to try more speakers to compare and see how good these really are, but it was very easy for me to get comfortable with them (they look very nice as well!).
