More garbage than I was ever expecting

The pair that I had wasn't a bad batch. It was a perfectly functioning pair, tested for around 100 shows, and I can confidently say that it's an actual waste of money. I will try my best to describe why. The frequency response is surprisingly bad, because it has some weird mid-highs that are so boosted that make all of the higher frequencies sound like a "stylized crackling of certain sound effects in a movie theater" (which is extremely inaccurate). The worst part? Through the shows I was having several problems on "not hearing the bass player well enough", or my piano sometimes being too loud or too quiet, etc. Thinking that it was maybe my in-ear output pack, or simply the monitor mix coming from the console. Come to find out that almost every problem of discomfort and lack of clarity was caused by these in-ears. After I accidentally broke these in-ears by pulling too hard on the cable, and switched to an emergency Shure 215 pair, all my problems were solved, and I was feeling amazing on stage like a dream come true. I'm not the biggest fan of the Shure 215s, and they felt like heaven compared to these headphones. Never again, dude.
