Perhaps the best "bang for your buck" condenser mic out there
The MXL 770 is the center of my podcasting rig and is also my preferred vocal overdub microphone. It has a full, rich sound, excellent pickup pattern, works wonderfully for voice applications. Requires phantom power. It outperforms many microphones costing hundreds of dollars more, IMO. For a microphone that retails for under $100, this is a winner.

The mic is pretty good for the price
First of all i just use the mic for just basic mouth sounds for production or my acoustic bass which does a great job! But not only this microphone has a really fat sound and a really warm sound either which is great , but i had a few problems like a annoying hiss sometimes , fixed it with grounding the cable and for the price its really great
