CH-3 Chorus Review: It's a basic chorus that can do most sounds quite well... | NUX | Guitar Effects | Reviews @ Ultimate-Guitar.Com

ultimate-guitar.com

With its easy-to-use controls and robust sound, the Nux CH-3 Chorus offers impressive versatility at a budget-friendly price. Musicians will appreciate its ability to nail classic chorus tones, from Guns N' Roses to Nirvana, and even venture into pseudo flanger territory. While the pedal's aesthetics may be off-putting to some, its sound quality and reliable performance in various live settings make it a solid choice. The only hitch is a minor popping sound on initial engagement, suggesting a potential switch issue. Overall, this chorus pedal delivers value and performance, making it a worthy contender in its price range.

the normality of chorus

Unlike some more bold and better sounding chorus cousins this one doesn't draw so much attention to itself. Its like its a little more shy then the others. But its great and I especially like the blend knob - on lower volume I use it in conjunction with the RAT to have those overtones really coming out.

More than decent.

Bought this thing for 50R$ (basically 15US$) and couldn't be happier. I'm not a huge chorus guy so this gets me all tones I want, it can go from jangle-y pop tones to pretty ridiculous sounds when at extreme settings. Also it is constructed very well.

decent, but you get what you pay

Sub-par chorus tones unless you have extra signal going into the pedal (a boost directly in front of the pedal), in that case you get fairly good tones, but it means you need another boost in your FX loop. Cheaply made knobs that feel like they'll snap off by using them. Decently built outer body

B

Great

Really great sounding chorus, and I picked one up for like $30.00! I use it pretty extensively during sets, and it has never let me down.
